I am a Nurse Practitioner, entrepreneur, traveler, avid researcher and reader, hobby photographer, and writer. I love my family, dogs, friends, and love living life on my own terms.
A question I am often asked is
“How on earth did you get started with all this?”
For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved to share my passions, peeves, and points of view with others around me. Although Shining Star Reviews formed in 2017, being a blogger has added great value to my life. With 15 years experience in retail, marketing, and blogging for my own e-commerce business this just makes sense.
Shining Star Reviews and blogging evolved from a simple conversation and advice on social media-about life-experiences-and helping others to a full-time blogging and social marketing career.

Shining Star Reviews examines lifestyle products and services, provides advice, tips and tricks, life hacks, and of course inspiration for you to improve the quality of your life.
My personal mission for my readers is sharing and caring enough to provide a an objective analysis of brands and services. I align and evaluate with brands and services to assist in making important buying decisions and painting a very clear picture and value in the best way possible.
My extensive business and life experience/s can quickly scan something that may be “worth it”, or a trend that may fall short-but has a great marketing budget. It does not matter how great something looks,-whatever it is- needs to be put to the test. I personally perform an objective analysis of a product/s, personally experience. After completion, providing the best advice and guidance based solely on my own personal life experience/s and education is my goal. So you can make the best choice for you.
I do align myself with brands, but I remain steadfast in providing an honest and objective review for my visitors. Gaining trust from the reader is important to me personally. My evaluation is not just making a commission on a sale, getting a discount or other incentive. I am a friend that shares a opinion and guidance. It is ultimately up to you to make the decision and form your own opinion- Shining Star Reviews is just the messenger.
Why do Shining Star Reviews matter
There are a thousand ways a consumer can make a choice without outside input-ever. Bombarding consumer with marketing ads specifically to target and pull you in to make a purchase is overwhelming. I am guilty of falling for the perfect marketing pitch. Resulting in buyers remorse, an impulse purchase. The worst part is- less money in my bank account. Ugh–So frustrating!.
