SkylarBody has a beautiful presentation – looks clean and fresh…so what is different about them?

Time to take a closer look.

Purchasing all four full size SkylarBody scents was a logical choice. After all, how can I really do my best to guide you to the right scent without personally experiencing all four?

I have to admit-as a person who is sensitive to traditional fragrances-I was doing a little happy dance.

Findings

• The box is perfectly packed on arrival.
• Everything from the box to the popcorn is recyclable or biodegradable.
• Each bottle is beautifully housed in a paper cylinder the slides apart and the artwork is stunning.
• Inside is a lovely clear bottle simply labeled.
• Pumps work perfectly.
• The fragrance does fade -just a light spritz will do the trick to bring it all back-even better.

Personally speaking- I like to mix it up a bit. Depending on my mood, where I am going, even the season  changes the fragrance I choose. Getting a sample kit allows time for you to experience the scents with very little commitment. You can play-mix and match-even get feedback from your favorite peeps before a full size purchase. Plus you get an excellent travel size or purse companion when you need a little freshening up.

Tip:  If you are layering your scents try them on paper first-you certainly do NOT want to be stuck with a scent…well let’s just say…less than a desirable result without a shower near..we won’t talk about it ok?

What gives SkylarBody each scent its unique fragrance?

Isle

This scent reminds me of a day at the beach. It’s light, slightly floral, with a hint of citrus  finishing with warm soothing notes. 

• Bergamot : a mild crisp citrus aroma with a distinctive spicy-floral quality.
• Cardamom : a subtle scent- mildy spicy, slightly nutty, aromatic and sweet, a bit woody with a vague hint of fennel or anise.
• Sandalwood : a warm slightly powdery, and sometimes creamy wood scent.

Coral

A perfect mate for Isle.

This fragrance is sweet like candy at first then blends into a perfect combination of sweet berry,spice,vanilla, and a slight woody aroma. A perfect compliment for the girl who loves the remnants of a beach bonfire.

 

• Black currant : a rich, fruity blend of juicy wild berries, citrus, and a  blend of floral infused vanilla.
• Sandalwood : a warm slightly powdery, and sometimes creamy wood scent.
• Patchouli : a sweet and earthy aroma is spicy, woody, and musky.
• Benzoin Resin : Some say the aroma is a warm amber mixed with the sweetness of vanilla.

Meadow

If you are a floral girl this one is made for you!

Meadow reminds me of a spring day, when the air is filled with the scent of freshly blooming flowers while having a  picnic, experiencing the outdoors-and taking the memory of the newness of spring- bottling it- and carrying it with you all day.

• Tuberose : a light floral scent, with a hint of citrus.
• Rose : a rose varies based on species described anywhere from floral and earthy aromas depending on the variety.
• Baie Rose : a pink pepper berry that has a sweet floral/rosy aroma
• Patchouli : a sweet and earthy aroma is spicy, woody, and musky.
• Cistus flower: a  soft, fruity smell with honey overtones.

Arrow

By far this is the boldest scent- though not overpowering. 

Definitely seductive and mysterious.

 

This fragrance is complex and will bring a different experience to those who wear it. I’ll admit it was not my favorite at first. This fragrance changes. The complexity and blend of Arrow will bring forward a slight difference with each wear. I call this a mood fragrance, as it changes with my mood and the time of day. Every woman can rock this fragrance because of the complexity of the blend-it’s unique-just like you.   

• Jasmine : a exotic, exquisite, sensuously rich, supremely sensual, warm with oily leafy-green, fruity undertones in the aroma.
• Rose : a rose varies based on species described anywhere from floral and earthy aromas.
• Neroli Flower : a is sweet, honeyed-somewhat metallic with green and spicy facets.
• Labdanum Flower : a warm amber, animalic, sweet, wood,, dry musk, or leathery aroma.
• Vanilla: I don’t think this needs a description…it’s Vanilla . 
• Patchouli: a sweet and earthy aroma is spicy, woody, and musky.
• Tonka Bean : aromas of vanilla, cherry, almond, and something spicy—a bit like cinnamon
• Birch Tar : a scent similar to leather, charred wood and smoke.
• Schinus Molle : a soft, fresh, pungent, dry, powdery, smooth peppery aroma with a hint of pine undertone.

Whew that’s a lot to take in….

Final words

• The simplicity of this brand is its best asset. No option overload.
