There are quite a few categories to cover, but not too many products to choose from, so expect to hear more about this brand as I experiment with each of the categories in the future.

 The first selection of products was an easy choice. The Swim and Sport Hair Care line was perfect timing for me. I have a two week beach vacation coming up, and live in Florida making this the perfect first choice. We’ll have to see how they stack up in the next few weeks after my time away in the harsh conditions of the  beach, salt exposure, and ocean- Stay tuned for my post beach vacation review-along with a few of their sun exposure products.

Babo Botanicals

Swim and Sport Shampoo

• Smells fresh with a hint of apple.
• Easy to use cap.
• Thin liquid- pours out quickly-take it slow-don’t want to waste a drop.
• Don’t expect a lot of bubbles.
• There is a gentle lather, but because of the lack of harsh ingredients such as SLS, lather is minimal.
• Focus on cleansing the scalp not the hair. The shampoo will rinse away the remaining residue-unless you have been in a mud puddle then I would suggest otherwise.
• Cleans scalp and hair effectively without leaving you with a rats nest.
• Did not disrupt my hair color.
• Recyclable container

Swim and Sport Conditioner

• Very rich and creamy. Use a little and work up or there will be a residue left in the hair that requires further rinsing.
• Easy to use dispenser and tube.
• Start at the ends and work up, minimal scalp massage needed to avoid residue.
• Left my hair smooth and soft was easy to run my fingers through-no knots
• After shampoo and conditioner my hair and scalp felt clean, fresh, smooth, and ready for an air dry-or styling.
• Recyclable container
• Note : The conditioner is enough to let your hair dry naturally or begin styling your hair because of a slight residue protectant left on the hair shaft that prevents frizz.

Swim and Sport Detangling Spray

• A little on the ends and any exposure to high level heat it is always a good idea to add just a little protection to the hair shaft and keep the hair sleek and smooth.
• Is perfect for brushing the hair out when wet- especially if you or any of your family members; AKA children have sensitive scalp or in general do not like getting their hair combed out after washing.
• Just a little on the hair for frizz control and styling is all your need. It works as a great detangler, though after the conditioner I did not feel the need to use this product for that purpose.
• Just a little squirt in your hand will control any fly aways after styling.

Sensitive Skin Deep Relief Hydrating Stick

 

• I am in love with this stick. Whoever invented this is a genius. It has become my new best friend-always with me-especially during cold weather prompting skin to be dryer than usual.
• Helps relieve eczema, dry, chapped, itchy skin.
• Perfect for chapped lips.
• Relieves itching from bug bites, rash like poison ivy (do not use after exposing to poison ivy on another person, and always seek medical attention if blistering is present)
• Easy to apply-glides on like a deodorant stick-rubs in easy with virtually no residue.
• Leaves a protective feeling to the skin but not greasy.
• A slight aroma of eucalyptus but in no way overpowering-they also have unscented also if you prefer.
• It is smaller than expected and compact- but long lasting for its size.
• Grab and go product.

• Do not leave in direct heat, it will melt.

Babo Botanicals Lip Tint Conditioners

 

• Not what I expected-this is not a lip balm, its applies like a super silky barely there lip tint and moisturizer.
• Leaves your lips moist.
• No obvious fragrance, soft essence of rose in some.
• Super Soft-glide on application
• No stickiness after application.
• Tint is very light.
  • Beachy Rose is a peachy tint- is almost nude.
  • Seka Rose is leaves a sheer rosy color on the lips.
  • The deepest tint yet very natural is Wild Rose, a barely noticeable rose color with a completely natural tone perfect for a young girl or woman of any age.
• Perfect for anyone who likes soft lips, minimal tint and no stickiness, this is the perfect product. It is also shaped as a lip stick not a regular lip balm.
• Leave away from direct heat. This will melt.
• Worth the Price Point.
