Let’s talk Ph

Your skin Ph, or acidity, of your skin, is approximately 5.5. Using a cleanser with a Ph within this range keeps the skin’s acid mantle (barrier) from being disrupted leading to inflammation, irritation, and other skin-related conditions. Good to know: B CLEAN’s Ph is between 5-6 to help keep your skin healthy and happy. Yay!

How to Use

When you first open your B CLEAN cleanser, you’ll notice a fine, granular powder that easily dissolves in water. You can turn the formula into a silky smooth cream or bubbly texture, depending on the amount of water you want to add. Bonus tip: Leave the mixture on your face for a minute or so, like a mask, for a deeper clean. Or for a breakout, mix a thicker consistency to use as a spot treatment. 

To reduce the risk of spilling the product,  wet your hands first to help the product stick to your hands.  Begin with a small amount and work up to the desired consistency. You need very little water to build up a lather so start slowly, especially if you’re new to using powdered cleansers. 

Pssst: Don’t forget to turn off your faucet while you wash to save water!

When you’re finished, rinse and remove the product with tepid water and a soft cloth. I highly recommend doing this twice to completely remove the product- I found just splashing my face with tepid water was not enough to remove all the product.  

How to Re-Use and Refill

If you purchased a refill for your B CLEAN cleanser, you’ll likely want to transfer the product from the aluminum refill to the bamboo and glass bottle. Be gentle- I found that tilting the refill bottle slightly will result in some loss of product as you can see. Using a glass funnel or turning the bottle straight works best for filling and not losing product. If you do accidentally spill some product, don’t fret! Use it as an excuse to wash your face, or slide it off the counter and onto a piece of paper that you can fold and funnel the product back into the bottle.
