A little bit about me.

Though I am a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, I am a born entrepreneur with extensive business development experience. I am passionate about health and wellness, clean living, and an ocean conservation advocate. In my earlier years, I spent most of my time traveling the world, and have traveled and experienced many countries. I am an avid reader, researcher, and hobby photographer. I love my family, friends, dogs, and especially living life on my own terms.

“How on earth did you get started with all this?”

For as long as I can remember, I love to share my passions, peeves, and points of view with others around me. Although Shining Star Reviews formed in 2017, Though it may seem I am a newbie, I have well over 15 years experience in business development, retail sales, marketing, and writing and blogging for my own e-commerce business.

With much encouragement and support, a friendly conversation about business, brands, and health and wellness topics expanded into a to a full-time career having the same conversations, just in a different way…and to a lot more people.

Mission Statement

My personal mission for my readers is sharing and caring enough to provide a an objective analysis of brands and services. I align with brands and services to assist in making important buying decisions by painting a very clear picture of a brand to bring as much value to my readers as possible before making a purchase.

Experience

My extensive business and life experience/s can quickly evaluate brands, products, and services to determine the value to the consumer. It does not matter how great something looks,-whatever it is- needs to be put to the test. I personally perform an objective analysis of a product/s, and personally experience a service before sharing with my readers.

Even though, I align myself with brands is a big part of relationship building, remaining steadfast in providing an honest and objective review for my readers is a priority. Gaining trust from the reader is important to me personally. My evaluation is not just making a commission on a sale, getting a discount or other incentive. I am a friend that shares a opinion and guidance. It is ultimately up to you to make the decision and form your own opinion- Shining Star Reviews is just the messenger.

There are a thousand ways a consumer can make a buying choice without outside input-ever. In fact, consumers are bombarded with marketing ads designed specifically to target and pull you in to make a purchase. I am guilty of falling for the perfect marketing pitch- only to have buyers remorse, and a lot of things I don’t need or use. The worst part- less money in my bank account. Ugh, So frustrating!.
