Day of Arrival

7 Charming Sisters was kind enough to send two pieces of my choosing to evaluate. I was very excited for the offer to pick my own.

Within a few days a bubble lined envelope from 7 Charming Sisters was at my door.

I thought this a bit unusual since jewelry can be a little on the fragile side-but lets see…

I found two basic black jewelry boxes with simply designed logo stickers on the box. Nothing spectacular just basic packaging, but if you have read anything at all of mine, I am not interested in the packing so much as I am what’s inside. It IS what’s inside that matters. right?

The first box I opened was the beautiful Mission Accomplished Necklace.

A golden chain with a round sparkly faceted cut stone dangles and sparkles and danced in the light. I could not wait to try it on. Wow!  It is even more beautiful on the neckline. The length is perfect and with the stone flat against my chest, this piece is just the right size to compliment anything.

Mission Accomplished is definitely a staple to dress up or down depending on your mood. Wearing it out…Oh my goodness the compliments kept coming. Nearly everyone commented on the piece.

This beautiful necklace holds up under pressure…I have had it for a while now, and it still looks as good as new. Just a little buffing and it sparkles away. No tarnishing, breakage, and the chain is holding up nice and sturdy.

The second piece, The Good Mood Bracelet, packaged the same, arrived in the same envelope.

Much to my disappointment, though a beautiful and chunky bracelet with blue/green stones-one of the stones was detached 🙁

I am not entirely certain as to how this came to be, so I inquired with 7 charming Sisters.

Note: I must say as a previous owner of a e-commerce business, this is one of my least favorite calls to receive. “An item is broken” Ugh. Let’s just say, it does NOT make our day. 

After speaking to my 7 Charming Sisters representative, she was profusely apologetic and sent another piece out immediately. Unfortunately, the piece arrived with two stones missing.- Not exactly what I was expecting. At this pint I was losing faith…but as any good business person. I was going to get to the bottom of the missing stone problem. 

Keep reading…don’t give up on me now. It Gets better, I promise.

Upon further examination of this particular piece, the adhesive appeared to have come loose. Don’t get me wrong here, the piece is beautiful, so why did the other beautiful necklace come perfect and this one not? I needed to further explore the issue.

7 Charming Sisters has a great reputation, many 5 star reviews, and is in in numerous publications. This would not happen if broken merchandise was repeadildly being sent out. This absolutely did not make sense.

I dug deep into my own experience with business and went to work.

I took a look at the shipping address and Ohhh...Lightbulb Moment. I see a problem. Drop Shipping. OMG! the nightmares I have heard from other venders of using drop shipping services.

Drop shipping is definitely one explanation, or it’s just not their best work. Not one company on this earth puts out a perfect product every single time. Even the best of the best has bad luck on occasion. You pick. I pick a combo of the two.

What did I do next?

I waited for a sale and bought 4 different pieces, just to see how they would present, test the quality, and put 7 Charming Sisters to the test- differently- to start over.

Not letting my affiliate representative know. I wanted to see what a real life customer experience was like from start to finish. Boy, am glad I did. I was inches from turning down this fabulous company.

• As you can see, each of the pieces are absolutely beautiful and arrived intact,  carefully packaged in a parcel box not a bubble wrap envelope.
• Clearly the previous problem is not chromic as initially thought.
• My parcel arrived neatly packaged.
• Simple packaging. A ziplock plastic cover with bubble wrap and a piece of jewelry neatly displayed on a card with 7 Charming Sisters Logo-Nice touch.
• Upon opening, everything was intact and beautiful.
• Each piece is beautiful in their own way.
• Every piece has been worn, and compliments come every single time.
• I was pleased with the quality- actually, a little bit more than pleased.
• There was even a coupon allowing for 15% off my next purchase.

Would I buy from this company again?

• They have amazing sales too!. Come on now…recently they had a $2.00 earring sale. Where can you find this quality for $2.00?
